I bought the frame in July 2018 while convalescing after a broken collar bone at BPW but since my injury I have been riding downhill sections so slowly, to the point I feel embarrassed to ride it….”all the gear…”. I am now riding XC all the time so I would like to sell this bike in order to buy an XC bike. Or maybe do a swap for a short travel frame. It has covered less than 100 mi / 4 rides.
It is a 2018 Santz Cruz Hightower CC with a Fox DPX2 Factory shock, The frame is invisiframed and there are literally no marks on the frame at all. It is size XXL but Santa Cruz come up quite small so I would describe as XL/XXL, fitting someone 6’3″ to 6’6″ with a 50mm stem. For reference I am 6’3″.
– New in August 2018: Nextie Crocodile carbon 27.5 x 40mm outer rims with Hope Pro4 Boost hubs. The Crocodile stepped rim profile look great compared to most carbon rims. DT Swiss comp spokes and brass nipples, built by my LBS. High Roller front and Rekon rear, both 2.8 120 TPI.
I paid £3200 for the frame (incl upgraded shock). Looking for £1990 for the frame, assuming the buyer pays fees. Up for a swap for a Santa Cruz Blur of similar spec.
