Im reluctantly selling my Santa Cruz Hightower bike.  This is the bike that rekindled my love for mtb about 4.5 years ago and will be sorely missed.  I have now bought a Slash and so I’m looking to sell this to fund the new purchase.

This bike has been meticulously maintained and looked after.  Frame bearings have all been replaced as and when required, generally no more than a year before theyre changed.  The wheels were built for me by Moonglu in June 2020 and they have been absolutely faultless.  I have stripped and serviced the freehub last spring but they have never needed anything more.

The forks have always been serviced by TF Tuned and have consequently performed flawlessly.  The rear shock is only a couple of years old and replaced the original Rock Shox monarch which can come with the sale if you’re interested.

The rear mech is less than a year old and shifts perfectly with no play in the linkages.  Rear cassette is also a similar age,

The reverb dropper post was new in Oct 2020 and performs perfectly.

The bike is really well cared for but does have some marks here and there as you might expect.  The most notable ones are to the lower fork leg on the left hand side.  The stickers bore the brunt of it though so if they were replaced it wouldnt be noticeable.  The down tube also has a mark which is under the protective tape.  Again, nothing serious and the tape obviously did it’s job.

I think the price reflects the above.
