I have owned the bike from new (Aug 2015) and being my only mountain bike up until now it has been well maintained. Santa Cruz do two levels of carbon frames the C and CC. CC is the more expensive and lighter version.
The bike has had a new front chain ring and chain in the last month, both brake levers have had their internals replaced in the last few months (they work like new now) and new frame pivot bearings this weekend. Cosmetically it has marks and scratches including on the fork stanchion but mechanically it is great.
