Pivot Firebird 29 XT/XTR w/Factory X2 shock upgrade and Reynolds Carbon/Industry Nine wheel upgrade (+many more listed below). Size Large

After barely any use and ownership for 8 months, my stunning Firebird is for sale.

I have other bikes and this was saved for best. But with a new born baby and Covid restricting locations of riding, it’s been ridden at bike park Wales just once and BMCC just once also. Additionally, it’s been on 3x FoD rides and just 4x local rides here in Abergavenny. Barely anything. It’s immaculate.

Condition: As you can imagine from a bike that’s been used so little, it’s near immaculate. The frame and fork were invisiFRAME’d from new which means neither the frame, nor the fork have any scratches of marks on them with the exception of a tiny chip just behind the chainring under the seat-stay (picture shows this clearly). Frame bearings are as-new and fork and shock are barely bedded in with no marks what so ever. Cassette was removed after the first ride and replaced ready for sale, so that’s basically new, as is the chain which was replaced for something shinier you show our chain lube. Handlebars and grips were never used at all, so brand new. Tyre wear is minimal. The one notable piece of damage across the entire bike is the left hand carbon crank. On it’s first ride at Bike Park Wales, a large rock impacted the crank arm and caused a significant chip, right though the lacquer to the carbon (see picture). The bike was subsequently ridden at BMCC and the various other rides as mentioned above with no deterioration. If it was me, I would keep them and just keep riding. Their structural integrity is sound, but you may wish to replace just the left arm.
