The coil conversion is the CR Conception kit giving 140mm travel on a 27.5 Pike. The conversion was fitted to a fork I bought from here last year, since then I’ve changed frame which required more travel so no longer needed.
I’m including two springs, one was already fitted to the fork to suit the original owner at 180lb kitted up. This was a bit stiff for me so I ordered a lighter spring to suit my weight of approx 150lb. With this spring I was getting around 20% sag. The kit is really easy to fit – if you can do an air spring service this will be no problem. Big thread here about it http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/coil-conversion-for-the-pike
There is a plastic sheath with the kit that protects the inside of the stanchion and seems to do a good job, I found no internal scratches and was able to go back to air with no issues.
Looking for £75 posted, i’m no suspension expert but will do my best to answer any more questions about it.
2x Pike airshafts. These are both 150mm for 27.5 forks. Ended up with two of them while experimenting with increasing travel – eventually settled on 160mm so these are surplus. £15 each posted.
