2012 Pace RC129 MTB 29er Frame.

Size large, 19″, suit up to 6’1.

853 Reynolds steel frame, sliding dropouts to run both geared or singlespeed.

Spec as follows:

1 1/8 head tube, 27.2 seatpost, 30.0mm clamp. 73mm BSA threaded BB, 135mm qr rear dropouts.

This is one of the first edition 29er frames from Pace so a little old school in geometry, however the frame comes fitted with a works components Angleset to slacken the front off a little.

Frame also comes with a pair of singular swift forks.

Also included are a spare set of dropouts.

Bad points, the frame has had a repair on the seat collar. There was a crack just below the seat clamp. This has been repaired with a reinforcing collar and a lot of braze. It’s not that pretty, but it’s sturdy. It may benefit from a ream out. 27.2 seatpost fits, but is tight.

It’s also had a very rough paint job which is coming off in places. Would benefit a powder coat, but can be used as is

It’s still a great 29er frame, rides superbly and would make a nice MTB or gravel conversion.
