180mm travel, 20mm axle, 210mm steerer
Rebound / Compression Damping
ETA (External Travel Adjust): Allows you to lower the front end for climbing. Effectively changing the geometry of the bike on the fly. IM(controversial)HO, a brilliant system. I won’t go down that rabbit hole. Anyway, once the ETA is compressed and the forks are lowered, you still have a little travel, perfect for climbing.
Old but gold. What can I say, I’m a hoarder 😏
These are original Marzocchi forks, before they moved manufacturing out of the USA and things started to go wrong. In this era they truly were bomber. Barely ever failed or needed servicing.
I bought these so long ago I can’t remember when. They were used on a (back then) “freeride” bike for a couple of Alps holidays. Since then they have been stored and not used.
They are in vgc. They have a few cable rub and lift marks but otherwise vgc. Seals are still good with no leaks under compression, even when inverted. Think I’ve got a pair of spare new seals to go with. Stanchions are in excellent condition.
26″ so for a very limited market these days but if you are interested, I’d be very surprised if you could find better.
Cost, I really have no idea. I looked on eBay and can’t find this top end model to compare.
Let’s try £190 plus postage (mainland UK)
Or local pickup Clitheroe, Lancs.
If you know, you know; ‘owned with a pair of bombers’ 😁
