Clearing out my kit as I don’t need spares of everything!
Aegismax 800fp down sleeping bag. Been kept as a spare bag so not had lots of use, mainly lending to a few mates when needed. No hood to it so can be unzipped to form a (large) quilt. Plenty of room in it for me at 6 foot and 14 stone as it’s the large size.
This one has baffled construction rather than sewn through so won’t have the colds spots you get with sewn through bags. Its a decent warm bag that packs fairly small, but would suggest its 3 season only (or you could use it to layer for 4 season)
It’s been stored un-compressed in a smoke and pet free home (will be posted compressed).
I’ve recently hand washed it (using Grangers Down Wash) and then tumble dryed it with some tennis balls in the dryer. Some of the down has migrated between baffles and needs working back into the right places while sat in front of the tv (through small opening at the ned of the baffle). The bottom metal tag of the zip has come off on one side. The zip can still be used but takes some care to align the 2 sides to zip it up and it can unpeel. To fix this it needs the bottom of the zip sowing together once it’s engaged to stop the zip coming off/apart.
I’ve not got the time or patience to sit there and redistribute the down so have priced it accordingly as this will need doing to bring it back to it’s absolute best.
