Genesis Vagabond. Selling as for the riding I do I prefer either a CX bike (of which I’ve two) or an XC bike. So this has kinds sat in no man land in between. It does everything the others do, but I already have the others so it’s hardly been used, I’ve not even added it to STRAVA! If you already have a trail bike and need something for mile munching, touring, commuting, CX and gravel riding, this is the bike for you.
Frame treated with framesaver and all bolts are stainless.
XTR M970 cranks, Uberbike BB, Middleburn 38t Chainring.
TRP Spyre brakes with race matrix pads and compressionless cables.
Hope Pro2 Hubs, DT X470 rims.
Cane Creek Headset
Specialized toupe 147m saddle
Thompson Elite seatpost and x4 stem (110mm)
Bar tape on the top tube is just preemptively protecting where the bars would hit it, there’s no damage underneath it.
Only damage is a few light scuffs and scratches to the paintwork, all but the one of the fork crown and the chip on the seatube pretty much disappear with a wipe of wax. The components are a mix of used and new, you can tell whats what from the pics)
Obviously I’ve built it up as a singlespeed, if you want gears I do have most of the bits for a fairly bling build. Dura Ace 7800 shifters (need new clamps and a brake barrel, all available from SJS), zee mech (would need a j-tech shiftmate) and 11-32 XT cassette. Make me a seperate offer on those.
Also I’m rather fond of those cranks, battered though they are. Ditto the seatpost and stem, so would knock £150 off if I can keep those. Ditto the brakes, £65. So with a bit of spares bin raiding you could be getting a bargain for £535 (or maybe you want to throw money at it with hydraulic brakes etc)
Pedals and bottle cage not included.
