Biking really needs to take a back seat in my life so I’m going N-1. I’m away for 6 weeks from the 31st and would love to sell it before then, so offers welcome (reasonable ones).

It’s a Genesis Fortitude Adventure, size large (19″), custom built as an 11-speed go-anywhere thing. I’ve pretty much just built it up and it’s in great condition, mostly used parts but a few new as well. Full spec below.

It’s got mounts all over the place so great for bikepacking, would also be perfect for a UK gravel bike fit for rough bridleways, or stick some 29×2.3″ tyres on to make a fast XC bike, or the same with dropbars for monstercross fun.

Currently it has some perfectly colour matched duct tape all over it for protection, as I originally planned to commute on the thing (can’t believe it matches so well to be honest…)

Looking for £650 for it as pictured.

For that price I’d happily throw in a dropbar set up (105 STI shifter, Ritchey Venturemax bars) and some fast rolling Vittoria 2.0 tyres.

Could do closer to £600 if you didn’t want the dropper.

Full spec

Genesis Fortitude frameset, large (very good condition, anti-rust treated internally by the previous owner). Some cosmetic marks, but nothing major.

Full length SKS AL56 guards fitted, really nice full metal fenders.

Wheels:

Hope Pro 2 Evo hubs, Stans Flow Ex rims (very good condition, bearings all good and rims straight and undamaged). Set up with a DT Swiss 10mm bolt through rear axle.

Maxxis Rambler 45mm Silkshield tyres (brand new, just bought from Germany. Set up tubeless)

Drivechain:

XT cranks with new superstars narrowwide ring, 38t11sp

Ultegra clutch mech and 105 flatbar shifter (former in good condition, latter almost new). This makes it very easy to switch to drops and the mech road-shifter compatible.

11-40t cassette, Shimano (can’t remember what) with a new chain. Cassette has a couple of chains more life in it.

Ultegra ES600 pedals, for MTB cleats, superlight.

Brakes:

Avid BB7 Road, 180mm discs front and rear (brakes in great condition and with new cables)

Avid levers of some sort.

Finishing kit:

Easton Haven 70mm stem, On One Mike bars (basically updated Mary’s), and ESI Chunky grips.

KS Eten 100mm dropper, Charge Spoon seat.
