Size? (Frame, clothing, wheel size etc. You can pick 3)
Collection only

Lovely Genesis Croix de Fer 725 in size large in a lush metallic orangey-brown bronze colour with black fork. Reynolds 725 steel frame and fork with loads of rack/bottle/guard mounts and can take decent sized cx/gravel tyres. Rides really nicely and perfect for commuting, gravel rides or touring imo.

The frame and fork were new in summer 2019 and built up with parts off a custom Salsa Vaya I had and only used up till lockdowns for commuting. The frameset is in good condition just some marks/scratches in the paint mainly on the bottom of downtube/fork/lower rear stays from pedals on other bikes and bike racks etc and a tiny stone chip on rear seat stay. Some are a deeper than others – see pics. It’s QR front and rear.

Spec below:

Chris King headset in silver (some bits of cable rub)

Salsa Cowbell 3 flared drop bars

Tiagra 3×9 speed brake shifters, Ultegra front mech, XT rear mech, 9speed Sram chain and Shimano 11-32t cassette replaced not long before lockdowns so should have plenty of life left

Middleburn RS7 triple cranks with 28/38/50t rings (some scuffs but good condition – middle is a stronglight ring)

Avid BB7 road brakes, rear rotor bit wobbly/rubs slightly but spins ok

Sunline stem 80mm

Schwalbe Marathon tyres 700x35c in good condition not much use

Charge saddle/Brand X post

Syncros 19mm wide disc wheels with Shimano rear hub/Syncros front – bit of wobble but turn ok

Will include a set of SKS Chromoplastic guards in good condition (inc fittings and shaped to fit direct on the bike) and if needed a free Topeak pannier rack if of any use it’s pretty well used/rubbed but will be fine for commuting.

Msg for more details/pics if needed.

Collection in Rowlands Gill, near Gateshead/Metro Centre/Chopwell Woods, NE39. Could be possible to arrange to meet with it somewhere along the A1/A69 etc within reason… Likely split if someone took the frame and fork first and would be happy to post the frameset.
