The time has come to move on the faithful old mondeo, as it has now been replaced with a berlingo.
Mechanically well looked after, with a comprehensive folder of receipts and service history for my ownership since 2013, including confirmation that the DMF of doom has been done with a new clutch and the required timing belt change at 125k miles (now at 140k). Also has a set of cross climates with about 500 miles on them, as I didnt expect to be successful in convincing my other half to get a van with windows 😉
Cosmetically it is far from immaculate, showing the typical age related marks you would expect from a well loved family/bike wagon. Notable additions come courtesy of an argument with a boot mounted rack (may be possible to sort this easily as no paint damage, never bothered me enough), and a morally bankrupt individual reversing into the front wing and scarpering during an inept attempt at parking whilst me and the boy were in the cinema watching Lego Batman.
Will also come fitted with towbar with 13pin electrics specific to car, hatchbag which has protected the boot for the majority of my ownership, and a set of Thule wing bars. Also have an Atera Strada 3 + 1 towbar rack which could be available for negotiation.
Pics of the interior are also available, but again this is in decent enough nick given it’s had kids and bikes in it regularly.
All in all a good solid car which should have plenty of miles left in it, happy to field any questions. MOT is only to end of October, though it passed the last one with no advisories and has only done about 3k miles since so I wouldn’t expect any unpleasant surprises there. In LS19 if anyone wants to have a look.
