Basic crankset (kids bike build)
£1,234.00
Looking for a basic crankset to build up a small 26″ kids bike. Anything considered (open to BB standard) prefer a 160mm crank tho. Thanks

I’ve put a set of the 152mm ones of these on a build I did for my daughter. Really good value:

SPOT ON – triple on a kids bike is total overkill (IMO!) but they are not riveted so thats an easy fix. I’ll do that – thanks Stevied.

Yep, I’ve fitted a single ring no probs. Will post the weight tomorrow, it’s all on my spreadsheet at work..

£35 even includes a BB. Amazing!

I think the weight is just under 600g (without rings) so a bit heavy but for £35 with BB there’s not much better out there.

I think I paid £25 for mine without BB then got a nice Shimano one cheap as I wasn’t sure on the quality of the one included.

Cheers Stevie, I was ideally after something a touch lighter but for the price and versatility that’s pretty good really and hard to look past.
