Hey all and welcome to the sale of my 2021 Specialized status is size S3.

Purchased from Brink at the start of April this year, this bike was a stop gap whilst waiting for a warranty replacement Norco Optic frame.

There wasn’t much choice at the time without spending mega money so went with the Status and I have been really impressed with how versatile this bike has been. On the face of it it looks like a park shredder and whilst it’s great at this, it also acts well as a trail bike. During my time I even managed the South Downs Way on it. 100 miles from Winchester to Eastbourne in a little over 12 hours!

The bike is in standard spec apart from the change to Schwalbe tyres. A magic mary up front and big Betty out back, in trail compound. The original tyres will come with the bike, but the rear needs a patch to fix a small tear. I have also trimmed the bars to 770mm. The dropper post and rear mech have only seen a couple of rides, as I put my x01 and reverb AXS kit on it soon after getting it. The original parts were refitted by my local bike shop (D&D cycles).

I have kept the bike clean and lubricated using Juice Lubes. I also have some spare brake pads that will go with the bike, along with all the original user manuals etc.

Overall the bike is in great condition. There are the usual stone chips and odd scuffs. There is also some paint missing on the chain stay by the cranks, as seen in the pics. All cosmetic, nothing structural or to worry about.

I am 5’9″ and the size S3 fits really well. The bike is a fun and lively ride being a mullet setup (29 front, 27.5 rear wheels). Built well and bomb proof, with 160mm travel front and rear.

Annoyingly there isn’t a huge amount of info on the status out there, so for geometry etc you may need to google or use geometrygeeks website.

I live just outside of Worthing on the south coast. Ideally it would be collection in person, but I am happy to drive a short distance to meet you or we can look at the logistics of getting it boxed up (this could take a few days to source materials and couriers).

I feel the price is decent for a great bike, in great shape and that is sold out until next year. Having said that I am open to sensible negotiations.

Any questions, please do ask!
