64K miles, I’m the third owner and have owned it three and a bit years and it’s been great. I just don’t really drive anywhere (even pre-covid!) in it. (I’ve done about 12k in three years…)
It’s a 2004 – Last year of the 986 Boxster. Last of the analogue Porsches too! It’s RWD, manual and mid-engined. No traction control, no adaptive suspension, no sat nav, no cruise control, just two seats, steering wheel and a gearstick 🙂
Does have ABS, of course, and a CD player full of classic rock (natch).
Black interior, black leather seats (and ginger dog fluff), air-con, auto wipers seems to be the only luxury option. Factory CD player and amp. It’s loud.
It’s been fine under my ownership, regularly serviced with Revolution Porsche in Leeds. Lots spent. Recent MOT and work done. Not perfect, but it shines up a treat, sounds ace and goes very fast. Happy to give any STWers the honest rundown of any issues.
I have a roof cover for it. Two keys, logbook, lots of history. Comes with the super-rare (removable) factory roof rack. I’ve never seen another.
AutoTrader seems to have these from £7K to £10K – there aren’t many this low mileage. Priced to pay off the loan I still have for it. Some sort of delivery/meet halfway might be possible.
(All my own work. No Singletrack subscriptions have died to fund this fab mid-life crisis car…)
