Workshop clearance continues! I’d like to move on my Shand Oykel. This was a model that was sold by Shand for a very short period of time. It was a departure from the handmade steel frames and was made for us by a Taiwanese factory. We sold out very quickly of the first batch but decided that our heart wasn’t really in that business model so pulled the plug. It’s a fun bike to ride but just doesn’t get the use these days so needs to go.
The bike is currently built up with 27.5×3.0″ tyres/wheels. the rear dropouts actually have a switch chip that allows you to lengthen the chainstay and set it up with 29+ wheels if you prefer.
Size is medium, HA:69º, SA:73º, Stack:629mm, Reach:402mm, Cstay:425mm,TT:595mm.
XT brakes and drivetrain, Hope Fortus 35 wheelset, Reba forks, Ascend dropper post and Shand bars and stem.
I’d prefer to sell as a whole bike but would consider selling the frame/forks/BB/headset if you wanted to make an offer. The bike is in good condition. Paint is good with a few scratches here and there but nothing serious.
