This was my eldest son’s bike, but he’s outgrown it. It’s a very very quick bike to ride! 120mm suspension front and rear. The suspension can also be shortened to 90 (I think) or locked out using the triggers on the bars.
Converted it to 1×11 gears. It has an SLX cassette, XT derailleur and XTR shifter. The cranks are 160mm Cruz, which I bought as it came with 175mm which I think are too long for kids.
It has a Brand-x dropper seat post fitted, which is routed down the down tube and through a hole I drilled in the back of the seat tube (see my previous posts about it).
No pedals supplied, but if you want some I’m sure I can find a spare pair. I also probably have the original seat post (syncros rigid) and bars if you want them.
It’s surprisingly capable for an “xc” machine. It’s done the red at Llandegla and Farmer John’s successfully, but my son is more of a climber so it’s been mainly used for flatter riding.
See photos for condition. Some chips and marks, but no cracks or dents.
We’ve had it for 3.5 years. He was just over 150cm at the start (which meant he was quite perched on it) and now he’s 173cm and, while he can easily ride it, he’s a better fit on a medium.
Will post at cost – probably 50-60 quid with Paisley Freight.
