After a wonderful ownership and plenty of incredible rides… it’s time to move the Vault on.
It’s a fantastic build, all high end. This would be a brilliant first gravel bike for someone. It’s super low maintenance thanks to the hydraulic brakes and Shimano Di2 electric gears.
Transmission and jockey wheels have done half a dozen rides since being replaced. BB half that.
TRP cyclocross forks; much tidier cable routing and better clearance and steering than the originals.
Shimano Di2 shifters, disc brakes and XTR Di2 mech. All works perfectly. I charge it maybe once or twice a year. Charger included.
Reynolds Black Label carbon wheels (front running 15/12mm adapter) – these have DT240 hubs. I’ve just replaced the freehub body so fresh bearings in that.
Panaracer Gravel King SK tyres running tubeless
Rotor 1x specific cranks
Rotor BB386 bottom bracket, 3 rides old.
Race Face 38t ring
XTR chain
Ultegra 11-32 cassette (you could fit a wide range MTB 11 speed cassette with a freehub spacer if you ever wanted as obviously the mech would be fine with it)
Specialized Phenom ti railed saddle
USE carbon seatpost
Fisk Cyrano 00 carbon bars
NB – pedals are some spare M540s I had as I need the XTRs for the new bike.
Frame has the usual sorts of marks from use, nothing untoward. Photos show major marks. The lacquer marks around the seatclamp is from some tape I used (once!) to hold the di2 cable when the seatpost was out. It looks worse than it is. The mark under the bottle cage is from when a bottle cage broke, I didn’t notice immediately and the bottle touched the frame for one ride. It’s mostly just a surface mark, ever so slight indent, it happened 4-5 years ago and I had it checked at the time.
Lovely gravel or cross bike for someone.
