Description I have owned this bike from new, brought from my local Whyte dealer . It has had a very easy life and been immaculately looked after.
Many parts are brand new and the rest have had very little use, this bike has been continually upgraded / had parts changed……
I have just had the local shop do a diagnostic report so any potential buyer can see its use.
It has covered just 877 miles, it has no faults and other than one ride these miles have been with my two friends who ride regular bikes so only 9% of the time the bike has spent in turbo mode, the rest of the time the bike has been in eco, tour mode or e-mtb.
The battery is a newer Bosch 625 one which I had brought as a spare and has only had 16 charge cycles according to the diagnostic report.
Water is never sprayed near the motor and I have rarely ridden the bike in the wet.
I had the frame professionally soda blasted to remove the paint and it has been left in a raw alloy finish like the Geometron / Nicoali bikes. Apart from looking great it is very easy to look after, any marks / scratches can just be rubbed out with a scouring pad. Just for good measure although not needed all the bearings were replaced with Enduro black oxide bearings.
I have all the original manuals, Bosch charger etc.
Frame: Whyte E-180, 170mm rear travel, One-Up Components Axle, Bosch Gen 4 CX motor, spare mech hanger included. 625W battery. Purion has a screen protector fitted so unmarked and it has Laylo
steerer mount so it is out of the way.
Headset: Hope with carbon spacres, this was fitted when the frame was done and bearings are perfect.
Shock: Brand New Fox Float X Performance Elite ( Same as the factory version but without the Kashima ).
Forks: Brand new never ridden, DVO Onyx SC, these have had the full factory treatment from DVO in the UK, stripped down, bushings sized etc, feel super plush with almost no breakaway stiction. Set at
180mm as per normal for the bike. Have the mudguard and travel change tokens.
Brakes: Brand new TRP Slate EVO with 5 ride old 203mm TRP 2.3mm rotors.
Wheels: Only a few rides old, Hope Pro 4 Microspline hubs on DT Swiss EX 511 rims, DT spokes / DT black brass squorx nipples.
Tyres: Brand new latest version Schwalbe Magic Mary / Big Betty 2.4 Super DH Ultra Soft, currently fitted with tubes, rims have DT Swiss tubeless tape fitted and I will include some tubeless valves.
Dropper post: Approx 6 rides only, Crank Brothers Highline 7 ( the expensive one )
Dropper lever: One Up V3 lever ( latest version )
Cranks: Brand new Sram EX1 cranks
Chainguide: One Up Components Bosch e-Guide
Rear mech: Approx 6 rides old but has a scratch on the outer part as pictured, Shimano XT 12 speed
Chain: 6 rides old, Shimano XTR ( 2 x brand new XTR spare quick links included )
Shifter: Brand new Shimano XT 12 speed.
Cassette: 6 rides old Shimano SLX 12 speed.
