We’ve reached that time of year where Fresh Goods Friday is a helpful assist for you all to winterise your rides. Who else has dusted off the hardtail and put their lights on charge?

We’ve also been playing more car Tetris. Last week featured a Tesla with a bike rack. This week we have confirmed that you can fit a fully packed Evoc bike bag in the back with plenty of room to spare. Less exciting (and less economical) is how to fit a full suspension 29er into a Mini Cooper S.

Hope Tech HB.130

Here’s a very anticipated bike, the Made in the UK, 29er carbon frame, full suspension bike from Hope, the HB.130. Hot on the heels of the popular HB.160, 27.5in bike, the new HB.130 is slacker, lower, steeper (seat angle) and longer – basically everything that ‘modern geometry’ is all about.

We have a medium, complete bike, which features a 455mm reach, 66.5°/76.7° angles and a Hope HB.130-specific finishing kit. Full custom builds, and chassis-kits are available too.

2019 Ragley Bigwig Frame

Anyone who has ever had a bike stolen will most likely agree that replacing it like-for-like just isn’t the same. Anyone who has met Amanda will know how much she loved her Ragley Piglet. So the obvious cure for her broken heart was the bigger wheeled sibling, the Ragley Big Wig. This 29er frameset is made from custom triple butted 4130 chromoly tubing and designed to take 130mm travel. For this build, so far Amanda has a Timber Bell.

Gloworm XSV

Not shining this in your eyes.

This is the latest light from New Zealand lighting experts Gloworm. It seems that every year, it has a new improvement or tweak on an already robust system. This is the XSV, the flagship light in the range – and the XSV stands for ‘eXceSsiVe’ amount of Lumens – 3400 to be precise. It doesn’t need to be run flat-out all the time though, there’s Low/Medium/High modes with a special ‘Super Dim’ setting for those through the night missions.

The Gloworm XSV comes in Gloworm’s signature neat box, with everything you need for bar mounting, GoPro adaptor mounting and even helmet mounting. There are even different lenses for the lights, AND a wireless handlebar remote control.
