MET has made a new addition to their range for trail and all-mountain riders on a lower budget. Following the success of the Roam, the Terranova offers the same coverage at a lower price for riders just starting out on enduro riding that maybe don’t want to shell out €150 on a helmet.

There will be two options available, one with MIPS and one without, and six colours to choose from.
The MET Terranova is packed full of clever features. To start, the flexible visor used on the top of the range Roam and Parachute is used through the Terranova range. This isn’t just to save your visor from breaking in the event of a crash, but also wont push back and helps to manage extra rotational forces that could be transferred to your neck.

The Terranova offers custom MIPS to match the channelling, so it wont effect ventilation and more importantly enhance safety. The shell itself is slightly less aggressive than the Roam, offering more ventilation all round.
Other highlights include the 360° adjustment belt with four positions for vertical adjustment, and it’s even ponytail compatible!

Still to expensive £50 is about right as they have a life of 2 to 3 years when the innards disintegrate
