For 2010 Marzocchi’s goal for the Dirt Jump range was to increase the strength and performance without adding weight. Extensive testing has resulted in added strength but with less weight and working with re-designed internals.
In the heart of the 2010 range is the RC3 cartridge that provides the damping for the 888 (EVO), 66, 55, 44 & 4X models. The Italian made, open bath RC3 cartridge gives a wide and usable range of rebound and both high and low speed compression adjustment. The High and low compression is adjusted from just one dial.
For 2010 Marzocchi has taken the 888 back to the drawing board and in doing so have managed to save over 600g in weight.
Chipps got a sneak preview of a good looking and ‘back to basics’ Marzocchi. They’re focussing on their previous strengths with a return to open bath cartridges and coil springs.
