    I’ve run Uberbike Semi-metallic and Race Matrix on SRAM Guide, Hope E4, Hope V4, Shimano XT. Never had noise issues with them.

    Sintered are always going to be noisy though, but overly noisy is likely to be contamination.

    £39? You’re looking over £100 for a full service with p+p on top. And that oil, grease and tools will last you years of changes.

    I would bother replacing the wiper seals to start with, usually just replacing the lowers oil and getting the foam rings nice and coated makes a world of difference.

    Don’t just use a normal socket for removing the top cap, use either a flat socket of the right size, a well sized spanner, or one of the open spanners like Epic bleed solutions sell.

    It’s very easy to strip the edges off the top caps, they’re soft and low profile.

    If it was on my only bike, and I was buying new I’d buy X01 for sure. It’s definitely better quality and feels nicer to use.

    The adjustability above mentioned, allows you to fine tune where the lever is.

    My MRP Stage won’t bleed the air from the negative to the positive when I press the nipple on the top of the air leg.

    Anyone had this before?
