thanks for useful info. Interview was really good, job offer was made but both parties agreed that salary wouldn’t stretch to family of 5. Never mind. And yes, my redundancy is a good opportunity to travel with the kids and is something we have both intended to do at some time.

Look at Germany. It gets a bad rap in the UK, but much of the country is very beautiful. It has great mountain biking opportunities.
