I thought I was going to buy a new Carbon Zesty 527…..but heard all these issues with rubbing / clipping of chainstays.

What’s the verdict on the Zesty 527 v’s Orange 5??

Best to have a demo and see what you prefer/fits best?

I demo’d a 2015 spicy and never noticed my heel clipping.

They’re totally different supension designs and should behave very differently. If you like the way a Zesty rides you may well hate an Orange single pivot and vice versa, likewise you may find that actually SC’s VP designs do it for you, or even DW links…

Find a bike shop close enough to some trail riding and book some demos, or borrow a few mates’ bikes.
