do you know if spares are still available for an ’04 z1 freeride fork?
I need a new damping cartridge( right hand leg ) to resurect mine from the depths of the garage.

Is that the HSCV leg, if so then good luck getting one, I have a set of otherwise perfect Z1s in bits, it’s a shame as nothing else is even slightly worn, stanchions are fine, seals are perfect. 🙁

    what is the HSCV leg?
the damper side (right hand )
or the travel reduce side ( left hand)

Yeah it’ll be the HSCV cartridge (non-eta) side that you’re after, you might be able to get one from UK bikestore, when I asked them they had to order them from the distro, who had to order them from Italy, and the lead time was pretty big/no one was sure if they’d be able to get one. I then ran out of money so stopped chasing them for it.

If you’re really lucky, they’ll have the one I asked for on the shelf!

I will strip the fork and have a good look first, It stopped working after a rebuild to free up a stuck damper adjuster( from what I remember) it was a long time ago now…..
    cheers
    for the info.
