  • yr favourite dance routine?

bit of an out-there thread maybe but its a rainy windy Sunday afternoon for me. I’ve never been ‘into dance’ per se, but liked (idly) watching Fred and Ginger at Xmas time, and love the kitsch synchro-flappery of the 30s and 40s.

then I saw that Chairlift/Caroline Polacheck music video, which is funny, original, artsome and clever IMO, so gets my vote (sorry for earworm, the tune is infectious to the max)

SFW but try convincing them 😉

*Edit: First person to put fwd that Christopher Walken one wins a biscuit.

Not so much a routine but I’m all about shuffle dancing just now.

    Atm dance: http://youtu.be/wUllpcnVuxE

When I say all about, I’m sure Jimmyjnr will appreciate his dad trying to shuffle dance in a few years time.

A properly sultry argentine tango for me. Long legs, tight split skirts, sharp suits, pure seduction.

I love dance, me. When well done, contemporary, hip hop, ballroom, all of them. Perhaps except tap, can’t stand the noise. When done properly can be extremely moving.
