A little browse of a new bike for me has thrown up a few things I like, for no reason other than I like them. Of course I won’t be able to afford such things, it is merely shop window gazing.
Firstly, I give you the BoldCycles integrated shock frames. So clean and well designed…
Secondly, I do like the Sonder Transmitter Carbon:
My Cannondale Jekyll Carbon 2 2015.
It is more bike than I’ll ever need in long travel but flick a lever and press a button and I have a 90mm travel bike that fits most of my needs.

My BMC MC01 urban slayer. Singlespeed, belt drive, EBB and lots of lovely KCNC red bits on there with Easton carbon loveliness.

My Cannondale Trail 29er. Rigid, light and with XT 11 speed and Conti RaceSport tyres it is super competent for commuting on bridleways or hitting the Ridgeway. VEry ccol and bought at and excellent price in the classifieds.

Having had my 601 for nearly 2 years now I’ve got a soft spot for Liteville. They just feel really well thought out, beautifully made with some nice touches.
Hardtail:
Number one has to be my bike (if only for the coolest review description of any bike ever – “If the swoopy contours of the Santa Cruz 5010 C are an ode to the dusty trails of California, then the Rocket from Cotic is a glorious punk rock chorus to the steep and slick woods of Great Britain”
Not mine, but one of my mines owns one and I’ve always fancied it.
Steel, short-travel HT with an 8 speed Alfine none of which should appeal to long travel, FS loving me, it’s not even a bright colour (my bikes are always loud colours) but I love it and one day he’ll sell it to me 😉
