On Thursday this middle aged man go shown how to jump after a TMS AM session by one of the local Loose Riders

Then on Sunday a hot and humid 44km XC ride, despite the massive numbers of Golden Orb spiders setting up shop everywhere it was not too bad a ride.
Hong Kong Airport and the new Zuhai/Macua bridge being built in the background
Go 400 metres up though and you were in the clouds and a pleasant breeze.
Biggest road ride of the year so far for me on Saturday. Set off from my house in Lancashire at 6am
This was taken around three hours into the ride, just inside Yorkshire.
Four hours later I was back in Lancashire for this pick (and still had two hours to go !)I was behind those hills in the distance earlier in the ride 😯
Excellent pics lads & lassies, looks some great times have been had in the sun.
I’m on a virtual cycle lock down at the mo 🙁 as we have a newborn 🙂 , it’s very hard work dealing with things without much sleep so just biding my time and banking some kudos for a big ride.
Jekkyl, gnarmac bikes are great for that. Get out the door, ride for an hour or two over whatever comes you way, get home and put it away. Less faff than getting the MTB out for a shorter trip. I often do an hour or so before work in the mornings, nice and easy to get out.
Works well with newborns around! Congratulations, by the way!

Nowt as exotic as most of the stuff here, but doorstep ride last night passing round the back of Haddon Hall. I feel pretty lucky in my own right, but some lovely pic’s in this thread 🙂
This thread is great, but it’s a bit light on castles and rivers….

Introduced the next generation of rats to bothying. LD and mini_LD of this forum and friends from Sheffield joined the OAB_clan.
Yes that is a 7 year old on a 20″ Islabike, first time off road ever, joining us and now incessantly asking his dad for a new bike.
We geocached our way out the next day. No midges. 20*. Sunshine.
Does Scotland get much better?

Working for an English organisation means I also had yesterday off which meant a bit more fun on hills and canoes (in between summer downpour, hence waterproofs…) Dumyat and Loch Venachar by Matt Robinson, on Flickr

@lowey – I think its called Belle Grange on Strava/OS. It’s the one that climbs from windermere lakeshore pretty much in a straight line E-W to Hawkshead taking in that good Guide Posts descent. It’s normally really damp and dark as it’s permanently under the trees, but it’s totally dried out atm.
Marshalling the National Masters Road Race Championship on Saturday morning
Raced in the 45-50 age group in the afternoon. Attacked a few times, tried to bridge to a group of two and finished five seconds down on third place (in 37th). Might be some pictures about soon.
2:00 – 2:19. It originally had a completely different entry from a drop in to the right at the two minute point (maybe 2:02) but the felling up the top murdered it and it fell out of use. More recently, I think Shipham MTB have opened up the line in the video that you ride.
A weekend of camping, riding and beers for us at CyB with Mrsstu, her bro and his mate.
