i know it’s sacrilege to say it, but i never loved that JMC picture due to the excessive leg angle/extension. there are better pictures/videos of him with more controlled style, IMO. 😯
Trailhound – not sure of the -lace tbh, we took a detour off the fire road @ llandegla then followed it to the Pondarosa, was nearly 1ft deep in mud on the moor.
Cracking ride though.
Am from the wirral and try to ride the trail every other weekend, if any mates don’t come I get on the train then ride from wrexham to the trackand do the black run. Your welcome to join us next week as we are doing the same route again

You’ll need an online photo account like photobucket.com
Upload photos to the online album, then copy and paste the image URL into the post on STW. If you use Photobucket, hover over the album view thumbnail and then left click on “Img Code” box at the bottom of the dropdown that opens up. It’ll copy the code for you, then paste this into a reply on STW.
Nothing like some real-world awesome pics, as above, to brighten the day.
Couple from the Pentlands, great when dry…
Towards the end of a group ride organised here, looks like a summer evening but is, in fact, November. Like the ‘relaxed’ vibe. (L-R; Alec, 13thfloormonk, AlasdairMc, Northwind, V8Shinprint)
And horsing down ‘goat track’, led by TheBikeChain of this perish (sic). Same background ridge, btw.
Too hard to pick out an individual picture, but Sterling Lorence is the first photographer I remember seeing whose pictures seemed to reflect the conditions we usually ride in. So many pics are obviously taken in 5 minutes of sun but his make me want to go riding regardless of the weather.
Seriously, you want to get some of these emailed in to the TweedLove Bike Festival photo comp. Fame, fortune and some decent prizes await (plus you might get a nice big quality print of your pic). Send em to info@tweedlove.com, more info here
Pic taken by a mate of mine, of a riding buddy having a not-so-successful jump session. Makes me wince everytime I see it, but also chuckle, because I know he walked away with nothing but a bit of bruising!
