We’re going to have a couple of nights in Yorkshire on the drive north in August, can anyone recommend a nice family friendly campsite near York? Ideal would be somewhere north/north-east of the city…..

Havent been camping for a long time, first time with the kids……are there generally campsites for just folk with tents as a lot of them I can see online look like they are full of caravans…..

spires house farm at cropton is about 30 mins drive from york.
nice for a bit of walking or cycling, and nice and handy for the cropton brewery for food and ace drink.
