Hello have a Yeti sb 95 and have been plagued by a slight movement in the bike when I gently lift it from the the ground, talking mm here in the movement.

Yesterday noticed the switch mechanism….the section above the bb that pivots…is moving in the housing slightly.

    Does this mean

    – new bearings or bushings

If so how hard is this for a mechanical numpty but one happy to write a lump hammer

    Or

    – is it something else?

    All help welcome

Play in the bearings, could be the 2 big ones, or the two smaller ones. How long have they been in there?.

All depends how/where you source your bearings. Try a local bearing supplier – bearing numbers are listed on yeti tech manual. It’s not a hard job, take yer time and you’ll be fine.
There’s 2 o rings in there, yeti recommend them only to keep dust out, they won’t keep water out, but can keep water in there. Take them out of there, not required in this country.

Iirc, it’s a bush and a bearing in the main pivot of the Sb95, rather than two large bearings.
No idea where to get a replacement bush by itself, but it does come in the sb95 bearing kit.

Apologies, assumed it was same as 66 unit.
