Got one on the way and it was a bit of a spur of the moment thing, going to need a few bits for the build so can anyone help with sizes and type of…

    Headset
    Bottom bracket
    Seat post (30.9?)
    Seat post collar (34.9?)

I did the same, very pleased with it so far

Headset = 1 1/8 – mine needed a bit of work to stop the steerer binding.
Bottom bracket = Press fit 41 mm (89.5/92 ?)- I got this to fit RF 24 mm spindle cranks
    Seat post (30.9?) = Yes
Seat post collar (34.9?)= Comes with a Salsa (35.0) but a 34.9 fits

Thanks, downloaded the user manual but it didn’t have the sizes.

Press fit BB is ideal i have one sat here, What headset do you use its tapered on the 2013 asr isn’t it.

I really should have have looked into this first shouldn’t i.

Any opinion on forks, it will be Fox but 100 or 120 does the terralogic fork work very well i have never used a set with that on them.

The ASR 5 I believe is tapered, my ASR C is a straight 1 1/8 head tube and I use a hope headset.

Presently running a RS Revelation with 150 mm and lockout, not my first choice (preferred a Fox Talas) but forks with 1 1/8 steerer’s are getting thin on the ground.

What year? 2010 ASR5c has a strange tapered combination headset, BS threaded BB and 30.9 seatpost (can’t remember the ext. diameter or BB width)

That was stated with conviction, does that indicate the frame has been delivered ? 🙂

Not yet, shame they didn’t use the tapered head tube.
