Oh well, rubbish photo I took when I moved into my new house. Hi-Fi was moved to the sitting room and the pre-amp swapped from a NAC72 to a NAC102 with NAPSC. Currently boxed up as my son took too much an interest.
The rest is Hi-Cap, Naim CD3 and NAP140 with KEF 104 II speakers.
Marantz 52mk2se cyrus 1 amp hidden away wanting some speakers 🙁
Samsung Av amp with celestion floor standers and satellites using sony blueray and samsung HDD freesat as sources.
Currently on SBLs andy. I did run IBL’s active for a long time before that. They were great but they liked to be driven hard to get the best out of them. Probably going back to passive for a year or two soon 🙁
No pics of mine but I’ve got a Linn Sondek with Lingo P/S, Basik arm and K9 cartridge, into an MF X-LP phono stage, into an MF X-A1 amp which drives a pair of Linn Tukan speakers. All pretty old stuff now but still sounds good especially after I recently had the regular TT service and new stylus.
Rega 3, Elys 2 cartidge.
Technics SL- PG520 CD player. Bit of an old school classic. Did buy a posh Arcam a few years ago to replace it but this still sounds better.
Kenwood amp, temporary replacement for a deceased NAD 3130. It’s pretty awful and will be replaced soon, probably by an old Rotel I’ve got my eye on for £80 or a new Marantz, which I’ve heard and like. Very wary of old amps though.
Old Sanyo cassette deck – due for replacement by something nicer, I’ve had it for 30 years!
Pair of tweaked Gale floorstanders – cheap & cheerful but sound fine.
Have some barely used Mission 700’s that might replace the Gales when I get round to buying some new stands.
Target table.
Mission solid core cable.
Cheapo Chord interconnects from Richer Sounds.
Sound starts off in an Apple TV then a Lindy DAC through to a Linn Classik all-in-one. Also added a Linn LK280 power amp now, to make the Linn Kan speakers sound their best.
Seriously. Just opened the URL from the error image which took me to your Flickr page opened the photo in its own tab copied the URL and posted in the STW post editor using the IMG button..
The wall plug is supplying the FM receiver. Everything else is supplied via a hydra lead from a dedicated mains connection. Just in case you were wondering.
