Just to let you all know, I saw this bike on The Gum Tree about 2 months ago. I contacted the buyer; who wanted £1600 for it, which sounded insane really. He replied and told me he was living in Italy and could arrange for the bike to be shipped to me if my payment was held in escrow. He suggested an escrow account and said he’d be prepared to accept £360. The escrow account was bogus. This guy is a fraud and I suspect the bike does not actually exist. I’ll report it as a scam to ebay tonight.
