Anyone had both and have any thoughts on performance?

Got a mattoc but like the idea of the bigger chassis and larger negative air spring on the Yari but wondered if the damping might be a step down from mattoc.

Any thoughts appreciated.

how do you know the negative spring is larger in the yari?

do you have the IRT on the mattock? I prefer my mattoc with IRT to my pike with the luftkappe. Not noticed any more flex with the mattoc.

Not quite, but I’ve got a Mattoc pro and a Pike RCT and prefer the Mattoc for my riding.

Negative spring in comparison to a pike which I also have on another bike.

And no, don’t have the irt. Contemplated getting it.

Just received a new 2017 warranty replacement due to a creaky steerer and they look to have come with the IVA so may be able to run a bit less pressure for better small bump.

I didn’t even bother with the IVA, that’s just tokens like you get on the pike. You don’t notice the ramp up at all with the IRT
