so i can get a XX Chainset for about the same price as an X0 – other than the unnoticeable 30g weight saving is there any advantage?

Not that i can think of…personally id go for the x0 as it looks alot better. Always thought the xx looks plasticy

i tend to agree – but i went for the XX anyway in the end as it worked out at £10 cheaper (£180 brand new).

When you can just fit X0 rings if you want.

I’d have got Shimano, lighter, better (cheaper) BBs.

Cover the cranks with helitape, my XXs scuffed really badly.

the cranks are BB30’s so shimano parts wont work.
Heli Tapes already been ordered. But the bike wont be built for 5 weeks.
