Your photo doesn’t work and you can’t really tell through images

A new chain on a old cassette will always jump, unless it was swapped very early

The latest mud fest has played havoc with my drive trains – I needed a new chain ring on my 2×10 STX set up in less than 500 miles

I went with a used XTR for £15 and 2 new small cogs, lightweight and smooth shifting. the Big rings on XTR are unlikely to be the reason for the person selling the XTR 🙂 Plus you can buys individual cogs when required on XTR 🙂

    Sticky cable
    twisted frame
    bent chain
    stiff link
    knacked mech
    sticky shifter
    bent teeth
    bad indexing
and probably a few more things it could be. This time of year i would go for the last length of cable being cacked up. replace that bit, or a new cable set might work. cheaper than replacing chains cassette.

    cassette looks ok tbh

IIRC Rose Bikes did them but the site won’t load on my phone so can’t confirm.

Cassette looks worn. Compare the large sprocket with the smaller sprocket profiles.
