Better deal on XTR bb here 😉

Yeah I think they’re worth the extra, I get 2 years out of mine riding regularly in the lakes.

Does the XTR fit exactly the same as a normal HT11 BB or is it spaced differently or require a special tool? XTR usually seems to differ from the norm?

If it’s exactly the same i might go for one.

Yes, just so you can say XT/XTR spec in the description when you sell it!

It’s exactly the same fit, and as far as I can tell performs the same too. £34 is very expensive for an XT one though.

Isn’t the BB found in SLX crankset package XT too?

well the ones on CRC are certainly described as XT/SLX.

Yup, XT/SLX BB is the same. XTR is different (XTR dark grey and has a slightly different shape), Deore is also different (looks similiar but has a different sealing system, doesn’t last that well)

Went for XTR Ceramic bearings and a new improved sealing system sealed (sorry!) the deal for me. £38 from Evans cycles.

First I’ve heard about Shimano using ceramic bearings?
