    100g heavier than SLX, more expensive and marketed as trail/xc vs the indestructibleness of SLX? They do look very nice though…

    Its not nearly that much (although that is somewhat ring-dependent).

    Its probably not as good as Shimano or GXP – that said its just fine and does work with Shimano BBs – just make sure when you fit the cranks (if using Shimano BB) that you hold the outer bearing cover on on the drive side while you put the cranks through the BB – they have a habit of pushing it out.

    SRAM cranks for the win though. Until you have had a set of X1400 DMs you wont appreciate how good they are

    SRAM cranks are great. But their BBs are still ****.

    Two written off SLX cranks in 18mths says they are not indestructible.
    or I can’t pedal….

    Figured out how to ‘fix’ them now, so they are lasting pretty well currently!
