  • XT Hydros brakes not using full range?

    The brake works fine through the first ~ mm of travel at the rotor end, then move no more. The lever doesn’t touch the bar. I’ve fiddled with lever reach adjust to no avail.

    I’m guessing there’s some air in ?

    Ideas please.

    I’d try bleeding them to start with Rich.

    Do it from the caliper end upwards.

    how do you bleed them from the caliper up as ive got some 08 xt’s that are a bit spongy !!
