Hello to the collective I’ve been changing my scott spark 10 from 2×10 to 1×10 with a hope 40t expander and even using a mahoosive c screw i can’t get the rear mech(long cage XO)to clear the hope cog
Any body come across this?if so whats the solution the only way i can see is a longer mech hanger

I had this when I went 1 x 10 with shimano xt. Just filed down the inside part of the cage enough to clear the cog . Didn’t need much taking off at all.

No idea, sorry – but my X1 mech works fine with my e-13 44t cassette

Are you sure it’s a long cage? Seems odd not to have a medium or even a short cage on a 2x setup.

My medium x0 cleared but only just on a 42t expander
