Had a brilliant ride today. Difficult conditions away from compacted snow, but worth it for the stunning day. -10C, no wind, perfect blue skies.

And finally, get yerselves a pair of Snow-Spats (TM)

Looks like a good ride- surprised I've not been over there myself.

Visibility here was about half of cock all and so my ride was a bit of a rummage into nothingness.

    great pics 🙂

Excuse my ignorance for asking but what are snow-spats? My feet got quite cold on a recent ride and I could be in the market for spending some cash to try and keep my tootsies a bit warmer.

Spats are brilliant twang – a triumph of function over form!

Oi! I think that idea has already been patented.

Great photos btw. Is that bridge on the way down to/up from Gairlochy?

Not entered Kielder yet Greg but I WILL do it. Got a goal of sub-10hr so lots of training needed.

    😳

yes, of course i knew that all along really, ahem.. just testing you.

Sounds like it could do a job though. My feet didn't get really cold until it started snowing and the snows melted causing my socks to become wet.

I wont order a pair now as maybe santa will have some for me tomorrow. 😉
