Anyone have any reviews of these following a bit of use?

I returned one to dotbike last week, it only lasted half way through a ride. It wouldn’t stay up or down. I ended up buying a ice v8 dropper and it works great.

I’ve been using one for at least 18 months and it has only let me down once, and that’s down to the fact I never serviced it.

Inside it is such a simple system, it’s like an office chair pneumatic unit that looks like a gas strut for the bonnet/boot of a car. On the top of the rod is a pin, water must have got at it and it started to stick, stopping the unit from locking in position. A bit of a clean and lube and it’s as good as new.

It is a bit heavier than other posts and does have a bit more side to side play than my Hilo, but for the money it’s been fantastic.

Mine is the lever version as I don’t like cable operated posts.
