Are there any pads that fit a chunkier leg.

I love the support you get from the biking community. Heart warming.

Can you mod the straps to give you a bit more room?

    I’m tall but not chunky.
Only ones I could find to fint nicely were Raceface ones, length ways.
Had to take a couple of inches off eash strap as they were way too big for me around leg.

    worth looking at??

The ‘chunkiest’ rider in our group hasn’t found any knee-only pads he gets on with. He uses hard plastic knee/shin ones instead (Raceface I think).

Looks like a job for your needle and thread.

I’ve had to alter most of my pads in order to get them to fit.

Ex rugby player here and 661 Kyle Straits do the job

Ok, it’s only the top strap that is too short. They also look small.
Anyway, they’re going back to chain reaction.
    Kyle Straits next to try.
    Thanks

    Do you have tall knees?

Raceface Digg for me. XL just got around the top of my knee but after a bit of wear/bedding in they now fit like a glove. They also “cup” my knees better than the 661 one I tried. The knee cup on the 661was too big on both L& XL and felt like my knee was “floating” inside the cup and would probably chafe

I’ve got fairly big thighs (although not quite Hoy-like) and I use Kyle Strait pads. My Large pair have stretched a lot over the years but I’m pretty sure the do XLs

XL 661 old Evo’s fitted my mahoosive calves (calfs?) and thighs (and I guess knees), but fell apart really badly.

Just got a pair of the new evo’s, they are tighter, but loosening nicely, and still fit. YMMV, but really, I have second row “beefy” legs, am 6’4″ and not in any way light (125kg).

So, if I can close the strap, but it feels tight, will it bed in?
Obviously to late to return if they don’t.

I’ve ordered some Kyle Straits (£35 from power kite shop)
They seem very similar to Evo’s but a lot cheaper.

The Kyle Straits are perfect. Much better fit, bigger, longer, better design.
Only £35, got them next day, big up ‘The Power Kite Shop’
