Sounds like you want a Pinnacle, I’m sure Evans will sell you one for £1300. 🙄

OP genuine question why spend £1,000 when there are so many good frames for £300-500 ? I can only think you want ultimate lightness but surely the extra £500-700 on finishing kit. My BFe was £2k and the frame was £300.

So if you are prepared to spend only £500 I’d suggest Cotic Solaris or Transition TransAm

I saw a picture of a kingdom frame modified for di2. Maybe ask them what they can do.

    Found it, here.

Just an example, I’d think they could do it to any of their frames.

don’t like Ti – that Felts just an open mould Chinese frame with 3x the mark up (and awful 12k graphic weave)

Pivot is on the list, Canyon looks alright

    I’ve already got a Krampus

    seems a strange price point,

It’s not a graphic weave on the felt.

Selling a brand new, unridden, KTM Aera frame in a medium at the moment… It’s a carbon 29er, weighs 1200g, RRP of £699… Bought it on a whim to go XC racing then abandoned the idea.

    Yours for £425 frame only.

Kenesis ff29 is pretty fabulous. It will leave you with a lot of change as well. You get custom steel to your own spec.

The richer p29 is a pretty good frame as well. For carbon I would just buy a Chinese frame.

£1355 from R2-bike, was in the Blow Out section, just waiting on a few bits, no rush, still not back on the bike

had to get the Di2 frame noggin direct from Open, and the Rotor GXP Adapter from Competitive Cyclist (shipping and import fees from them are mental!) Rotors UK Importers didn’t even know the item existed and when i showed them they seemed to get all pissy saying “we have been the importers for 9 years and its not an item we’ve ever seen”

What No bolt thru rear, I mean really!

edit) – You paid £1355 for frame only!!?

Lol, I like the frame, it’s nice’ish but not £1355 nice.

Still as long as it wasn’t a Litespeed ay 🙄

So enlighten us as to how much it weighs then fella?

You tried one? Be interested to hear how it rides. It’s been on and off my (admittedly fantasy) list but the old school geo currently has it off. Lovely looking frame though.

    old school geo

Are we talking twitchy XC old skool, or rubbish 29er old skool?

    Can’t afford it anyway.

Trying to decide if I want to swap my el-mariachi for something lighter, either that Pegasus in the classifieds, or one of the Chinese 29ers.

TINAS, I don’t actually know. I’ve just taken a random comment on here as gospel and not actually looked at the figures myself 🙂
