    I have just bought a new XC frame with a tapered head set. I want to put 100mm SID’s on it but I can only find 120mm tapered or 100mm normal so I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get 100mm tapered or if I should just get a non-tapered headset.

    Can you fit spacers in the SID to reduce travel?

    Put a 20mm spacer in the 120mm set – gives you more options for future or resale.

    Use a Reducer Headset and just have the normal steerer, this Tapered Fad will soon burn itself out… Oh…
