Just about to buy Xbox Live for my son and at Amazon there are two choices, card or code. Apart from about £7 more for the code are there any other differences?

I got a 13 month code from here.

Was cheapest at the time. Code was mailed within a couple of mins and works fine.

As above, thoroughly recommend cdkeys. Was sceptical but got the code for 12 months for 25 quid. Recommended on here to me by Jamie the freeloader.

Isn’t the card just a card with a code on it so you can give it as a gift?

    +1 for cd keys.

Normally the cheapest and you get the code within minutes.

Yes. It comes in retail packaging which isn’t as daunting to aunties who aren’t tech savvy not wanting to spend money on a code.

    +lots for cdkeys

Edit: it used to be that if you liked their Facebook page you’d get another 5% off too.

Sounds way too cheap to be legit.

There we go then, isn’t that all the OP was asking?

Thanks DezB and King-o. It is indeed what I was asking. Pay an extra £7 and download or wait till Tuesday for it to pop through the letterbox.
