Anyone know when the disastrously named Giro Xar is going to hit the shelves? Need a new trail lid and I know that Giro fit, so wanted to check one out.

LBS told me mid February when I asked a couple weeks ago. But that ^ seems more likely if it’s from Madison.

Not all giro helmets are the same fit you know.

1st drop is February. Some colours/sizes are pre-sold and so the next available date is April for new orders for those models, but bottom line is that they’ll be available to the public from mid-February via the shops that have placed pre-orders.

Yep, April according to Madison b2b. We’ve had them on back order for months!

I was interested in getting one myself as i get a hot head from the Xen but want the better coverage these types of helmets offer.
