Anyone got any experience of running these forks at 140 ideally for 650b. Are they man enough?

Mine came out of the box at 140!! I have dropped them to 120 though. Why would they not be man enough for 650b if they work for 26″. I know they need a spacer or something inserted but surely the functioning of the fork will be fine if it is designed for either size. I will add that I was running a big volume Muddy Mary last night on the front of the hardtail and while there was plenty of clearance we all agreed that you wouldn’t be able to run the same type of tyre on those forks on a 650 rim.

Sorry bad grammar! I know they will run 650b fine. I see a lot of comments in reviews about fox 32’s not being stiff enough at 140, I was wondering if the x fusion 32mm chassis was stiffer.

I’m investigating a cheap as possible new build and x fusion look good value. Rockshox sector gold solo air are another possibility
